I cannot wait to get started reading this epics. I have little to no knowledge of these from my childhood so I am ready to hear a new story or two.
I have not studied this type of Indian culture before but it all seems very interesting.
I took a folklore class at OCCC but that was mainly about fairy tales, I don't think we read any epics.
That was one of my favorite classes there so I don't think this will be any different.
I really enjoyed scrolling through the image recourse site because I am a visual person and even though I don't know who these characters are it put me in place where I want to know. I guess you could say I am intrigued by the mystery.

Can't wait for week two to start so I can begin to uncover some of the mysteries surrounding the epics we will be reading!
